Subject: Re: exposing magic secrets
What?! The excitement does not lie within the answer? Think about it! Your a
magician , you see a trick on TV that you don't know how it is done , you go
buy a book / sign up to a forum / buy a video and you open it up / wait for the
page to load / put the tape in...Then , at last...you find out how it is
done...YOUR EXCITED!
And likewise for a spectator , if they go find it out. They'll probably say
"Ahhh ,
yeah , I can see that now. Thats really cool." or "Oh yeah , its sooo easy".
Either way , you are excited.
Yeah , Okay. The truth about the trick is cool too , but the point is that you
either want to know how it is done so as you can do it (magician) or you want
to know because your a person-who-wants-toknow-how-but-is-not-a-
magician.
I bet you most people would disagree with that because , they say - and I
would agree with them - that magic isn't just about finding out the secret(s).
Its
about performing and what-not. But still , how can you say it is not exciting
to
know the answer if you really are desperate to find out?
I used to be searching through every book and website to find Derren's
secrets out , but once you do , you realize that you have to practice and some
of the stuff he does cannot be done by a lot of people in the world / forum.
Once you find out the secret...THATS when you have to understand it and find
out about the truth but before that , your still gonna be excited.
Anyway , sorry for the long post...
