Subject: Learning some of DB's skills
Ive heard from various sites that it is impossible to learn some of
his things, and others say it is possible...what is more likely to
be the case...yes derren is a magician and that would make it very
hard for the average joe to learn any of his skills, but surely if
he can do them all so well, the rest of us must be able to learn
them slightly. ive already done some of the lie detecting things on
my friends and ive been correct, im now lookin for books on it and
purchasing and taking them out from libraries to try to start to
learn some of it for myself...i dont want a tv show, or a stage
show, and i know ill never be good enuff to have one, i merely want
to be able to impress some people at a party with some of these
skills, surely this will be possible after some grafting?
anyone agree? or am i doomed to sticking to card tricks -.-
