Disconnect your doorbell (the connection is in the coat cupboard). If
they still knock around, tell them you're "on the internet". Keep one
hand prominently in your pocket and look slightly agitated while you
say this. (If they ask, tell them you're playing with your "anchor".)
The terminal solution is of course a career in magic, but try and
exhaust all other options first ;)
