Why not try it with a friend? Just watch their nose, it'll point to
the hand with the coin in most of the time.
No big secret, I saw it in a film once; the guy who was the cop in
the Usual Suspects called it a 'tell', and he said to the woman he
was conning that he could do it all day long. (Sorry, don't know the
film's name. It ended in a restaraunt, she stole someone's cigarette
lighter because he'd told her she should always take something from
wherever she goes.)
Add some fancy dialogue to stop it from looking boring, and Robert's
your father's brother.
Don't put money on getting it right every time, though. That's best
left to a pro with a TV network budget behind him. You never know,
you could meet someone who knows what you're up to.
