I'm intrigued as to why you have chosen to put such a terrible limitation
on yourself?
If this specific idea does not suit you, perhaps you will consider one of
the many other starting points?
If getting someone to stand fixatedly still for a few seconds is as valid
as getting someone to fail to open their hands for a few seconds - then I
recently covered much of the finer detail of a simple version of the
handshake technique in an email a couple of days back :)

Reading up on how to do it is often suggestion enough.

I was unable to do this for the first time until it had been done "TO" me,
but it was more down to the failure to be able to explain the state of mind
required. Once you have experienced that state of mind, you really only
need to remember how it felt/smelt/looked/whatever and you can return to
that frame of mind quite quickly. Then you don't use the ability for 2
years and you're alomost back where you started again!
