I remember asking about this in the web chat(#758)...
Derren: no I don't use hypnosis per se. I do use suggestion and so on
but there are no hypnotic inductions
Mjm710: what about the opera?
Derren: What about it?
Mjm: was that a rapid induction?
Derren: well, it depends how you define your terms. It can barely be
called hypnosis if I don't deepen it into a `hypnotic' state
I didn't push it any further as I didn't want to expose my complete
ignorance of the sybject!
