It
seems that I can't get my point across because,
hypnosis is not the suggstion that is given it is the
state(mental) at which it is given. Hypnosis is a deep state of
relaxation from which suggestions can be more firmly
imbedded into the mind of the subject. My original post
was pointing out that most of you are confused about
the difference between suggestion and
hypnosis.
Hypnosis is just used as a buzzword to sell tickets to a
show or books etc. Hypnosis has been so misused and
misrepresented in the media that people have this preconception
that is used by people who offer more suggestion
oriented methods because it helps condition the subjects
mind to do what the "hypnotist" wants.
