Sorry, I need my head examined. For some reason I
told you what a book test is when you asked about
Smoke.
Smoke is a card trick where DB spreads a deck of cards
on a table and asks the spectator to look at one
card and fix it in his mind. He then manages to read
their mind to divine the card. Lighting a cigarette, he
goes on to say that their card has disappeared from
the deck. He spreads the deck out again to
demonstrate this, and lo and behold their card has
disappeared.
At this point he coughs and splutters and when
everyone looks at him they see his cigarette has turned
into a rolled up card which he has been smoking.
Unrolling it's charred remains reveals that it was the card
which the spectator thought of, which has disappeared
from the deck.
