Subject: Walk The Plank
Did you wonder how derren walked along the
correct plank.
I did not tape the show, but i think if
you watch it again.
You will see that he uses an
NLP technique to trick Chris Ryan into telling him
the wrong ways to go.
It goes roughly like
this...
1. The first thing he does is to say "you can either
tell the truth OR lie". That gives a one or the other
choice.
2. He then tricks Chris Ryan by saying, regrdless of
how much i beg, continue to try and mislead me.
3. He therefore programmes Chris's mind only to tell
the incorrect routes. THAT IS WHY HE DITERED AT THE
THREE WAY CHOICES. So that Chris would tell him the
incorrect ways, thus leaving the correct way.
4.
That is why when at the end chris said 1 OK , 2 OK.
Dereen knew that three was the correct one before Chris
had finished.
P.S.
Also at some points
Derren would pretend he did not know and would beg for
help. This reinforced that fact to Chris, that he must
lie. Since you would not want the effect of the
suggestion made at the start to ware off.... could be
messy
