Although this may appear a strange inclusion in this web site, it is here as a result of popular demand. In the Mind Control series, Derren Brown performs an effect in which he repeatedly wins at Blackjack; apparently his skills led to him being banned from casinos throughout the UK.
Blackjack is a very simple game to play and, as with all card games, is based on chance. Having said this, it is one of the few games where it is possible to gain an advantage over the house (casino) by card counting. There are systems which players adhere to in order to maximise their profits, and all of these can be experimented with online. Beware, if you are found counting cards in a real casino you will be asked to leave the casino in no uncertain terms.
This site is by no means a suggestion that you should gamble, and if you are under 18 then gambling either on or off line is illegal. As with the rest of the site, it is an information resource and should be treated as such. Gambling can be fun if done responsibly, but can have disasterous financial consequences.
