Brewer, Sir (Alfred) Herbert (b Gloucester, 21 June, 1865 - d Gloucester, 1 March, 1928)

Brewer held organ posts in Gloucester, Oxford, Bristol, and Coventry, and from 1897 was a director of the Gloucester Three Choirs festivals. His many works range from cantatas to popular songs.
