Blair, Hugh (b 1864 - d 1932)
Having studied the organ at Worcester Cathedral Blair became organ scholar at Christ's College, Cambridge in 1884, and he then returned to Worcester in 1887 as Assistant Organist. In 1889 he succeeded Dr Done as Organist of Worcester, but he was forced to resign in 1896, reputedly for drunkenness.

He moved to London and became Organist of Holy Trinity, Marylebone, and conductor for Battersea Borough Council, and from 1910 to 1915 he conducted the London Church Orchestral Society.
