- Begbie, Mark (b Cambridge, 28 June, 1986)
- Begbie started his musical career as a chorister at St Mark's Parish Church, Newnham. He was educated at St Faith's School, Cambridge, where he developed his musical skills under Mark Blatchly and Peter Burge. He then moved to the Leys School, Cambridge, where he was taught music by Adrian Leang and James Deveson. He spent his Gap Year before university as a Choral Scholar at Lichfield Cathedral, giving him the opportunity to compose music for the cathedral choir. He was awarded a Choral Scholarship to King's College, Cambridge commencing from September 2005, where he hopes to continue composing.
