Andrews, Herbert (b Comber, County Down, 1904 - d Oxford, 1965)

Andrews was a Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford, and Organist and Master of the Choristers at New College, Oxford. He was also a noted scholar of the polyphony of Palestrina and Byrd and his academic publications are standard text books today.
